It is with great regrets that we wish to notify our members that one of the founders of NAARSO, Bruce Litzenberg, passed away on July 15, at his home in Port Clinton, Ohio. Bruce was Deputy Director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture Ride Safety Division when NAARSO was formed and was instrumental in putting the organization together with five other states officials in 1985. He provided the organization support and encouragement during his years with the State of Ohio. In addition, he used his knowledge of the National Weights and Measures organization to help pattern the our association's constitution and rules. Bruce gave the opening address at our 10th Annual Safety Forum in Orlando and was amazed at the growth of NAARSO since the beginning. We wish to extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family.
